Felt at home
Stayed here with some of our friends. From the moment we walked in we felt at home! The staff was extremely friendly upon arrival. They took us on a tour as our room was not quite ready yet. We ended our tour outide by the pool where the view is like no other. You have a view on all sides of manual antinio and is breath taking. We sat and waited for our room and were given a welcome drink and had some lunch. Lunch was great and not too pricey. The desk is a great place to see monkeys in the tree next to the hotel! We were taken to our room which was a junior suite and it was extermely clean and also had a great view. We went to the bat cave bar everynight before venturing out and Charlie and Octovaio were awesome and made great drinks! They were very helpful in giving us places to go to eat and even to go out at night. They went above and beyond! The hotel had shuttles which we did use and they picked us up and dropped us off right on schedule!

Was love at first sight!
This is a wonderfully charming hotel from the location, views, facility and service. From the moment we walked in we were greeted so warmly and despite the cliche, felt instantly at home. The staff continually went out of there way to take care of us and make us feel comfortable. I don't know when I last didn't want to leave a destination because of the hotel.
We met several couples on their Honeymoon and can see whey as this is the perfect romantic spot. And yes, there were famalies too. As a gay couple, we were made to feel comfortable by everyone. We can't wait to go back! Thank you everyone!

CHARMING boutique hotel, perfect for out honeymoon
This hotel had it all- great staff, modern and charming decorations, small hotel personalization, excellent food, and views to die for.
We were greeted with champagne for our honeymoon right when we walked in the door. Free parking for our vehicle. Our bed was adorned with rose petals, and every morning had fresh flowers and towel origami figures on our bed and bathroom. Nice surprise to walk into after being out all day sightseeing.
We cried when we left because it was like a paradise that we didn't want to leave. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We Were Treated Like Royalty!
What an amazing place! While its proximity to the Manuel Antonio Park is a huge plus, its entirely possible to just remove yourself from reality and melt into your surroundings here. So relaxing, with amazing panaramic views. The hotel and rooms were comfortable and clean. For a boutique hotel, this really had it all. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Hotel with an extremely hospitable staff
La Mansion Inn well exceeded our expectations. My friend and I booked the hotel via a travel agent and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Our room was extremely spacious and had its own mini backyard with rocking chairs, sundeck, and a beautiful view of the beaches of Manuel Antonio. We also had towel sculptures and fresh flowers on our bed. All of the outdoor areas (pool, deck, etc.) had bar service with a beautiful view. A shuttle provided transportation to the beach and the hotel had a small but entertaining bar called the bat cave on the premises. This was our favorite hotel on our Costa Rican trip - I definitely recommend a stay.

Exceeded my expectations
I love this place. After exhaustive research of Manuel Antonio hotels, we chose LMI largely based on Trip Advisor reviews. Here's what we loved about it. A large room with our own "yard" and fantastic view - we were in room 5, which was close to the pool. We had chairs on our porch and lounge chairs in the yard that looked out onto Manuel Antonio beach. The shower was great and the room had everything we needed, including a safe, comfortable beds, and big closet. The curtains blocked out the morning sun, so we could sleep late if we cared to, but we never did, because we didn't come here to sleep.
The staff is exceptional. The first night, they treated all the guests to wine and hors d'oeuvres and massages. Many of the staff members talked to us and they were all great. They recommended excursion companies (the sea kayaking with Iguana Tours was a highlight. Our guide was David). The Bat Cave Bar is strange but we loved talking to Bart the bartender (we miss you, Bart!). You wouldn't expect this kind of bar in this kind of hotel, but it's cool in a weird way (watch your head on the way in). The swim-up bar (we love Jesus at the pool!), hot tub, sky lounge with its amazing views...it's all gorgeous.
Everyone we encountered at the front desk was very helpful, and we asked them what seemed like a lot of questions. Charlie, the concierge, is wonderful. One downside is that we could not get Internet to work in our room, but they do have a computer in the lobby for guests to use. They should not say that Internet is available in the rooms, because it is not (we asked for help but was told that the Internet was bad in the rooms). However, computer time was not the reason for my stay.
The breakfasts were excellent, as was the view from the outdoor eating area. A large lizard hung out with us for two mornings.
If I go back to this area, I would love to stay here again. It's definitely one of the nicest hotels.

Marvelous place to stay with terrific staff
We stayed at La Mansion for 5 nights in December. The staff arranged to pick us up at the airport and return us to San Jose for a very reasonable price. Our room was very comfortable, the view of the ocean is fabulous from all areas, and we felt well cared for the entire time we were there. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfasts are outstanding. My husband had some medical issues and the staff couldn't have been more helpful to us, and they are continuing to follow up for us. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Manuel Antonio.

Great Hotel with Wonderful People!
I stayed at LMI for 10 nights in October, and I couldn't have been happier! The whole staff of the hotel is wonderful, and seems to be there all the time! Heriberto seemed to be there almost every time I came downstairs! He was super helpful, and helped me arrange a few tours, my favorite being the MidWorld zip line tour... so fun! The same two guys were the waiters I think every day I was there for breakfast, and they were both wonderful. By the end of my stay, they already knew what I wanted to drink and probably what I was going to order to eat! I was a little concerned that it was going to be a "honeymoon hotel" and it is to a degree, as is every hotel around, but not exclusively. And honestly, I didn't even really see any other guests except at breakfast! The way the hotel has been built on to, almost every room is almost by itself with not many neighbors, which is amazing. Make sure to plan in advance to catch the shuttle service to and fr om the main beach in town. And as other people have mentioned, the hotel is a 3-4 hour ride from San Jose if you don't take the flight into Quepos. I had the hotel pick me up and take me back to San Jose by car, and I really enjoyed the ride both ways. The drive back was beautiful and I got to really see a lot of the country that I would have missed! So thanks to everyone at LMI, hopefully I'll get to visit again this fall!

Charming hotel with an incredible view
My husband and I spent 3 nights at the beautiful Mansion Inn and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is so charming, built into a hill. Every room has its own private balcony with a dining table and chairs, as well as chairs to lounge on. The views from our room of the ocean and cathedral point were amazing. And, the rooms are huge!
Breakfast was served outside on the terrace and was included in the room rate. It was delicious and you could order whatever you wanted off of a full service menu (this wasn't just a continental buffet). Again, spectacular views and a perfect way to start the morning. If you're lucky, you might see one of the iguanas sunning themselves!
The pool is nice with a swim up bar, but it's small. We ended up lying out on their large patio area instead.
The service was also excellent. The wait staff was incredibly helpful, made us feel at home, gave us a full tour of the place, etc. They also spoke great English and made every effort to make us comfortable.
Finally, the proximity to Manuel Antonio park is a huge plus. It's literally a 5 or 10 minute drive down the road and there's very easy access to nearby restaurants and outdoor activities.
Overall, wonderful experience! We could have spent all day every day there just relaxing and enjoying the views :)

Beautiful place to stay
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel where we enjoy the room with private garden and balcony.
The views are wonderful, from your room or from the pool area.
The beach Espadilla (15 min) can be reach by walk and the entrance of Manuel Antonio Park also (35 min).
We also ate 2 times at the "Jacques Cousteau" restaurant where we taste tuna and mahi-mahi and it was verse good.
The staff at the hotel was nice.
The price we get with a promotion was reasonable (3 nights for 2 because of the green season) and we hope that it will not increase with the popularity!

Paradise
Sitting atop a rainforest canopy with 360 degree views of the Pacific Ocean this five star boutique hotel "La Mansion Inn" is not your average luxury retreat. It's anything but that! It's amazing!
A wedding party of approximately 20 people descended on Manuel Antonio as guest of the La Mansion Inn. Two things you need to know. My daughter was the bride and we were served by an amazing staff. The wedding planner (Larissa), who is an integral part of the La Mansion Inn, did an awesome job planning, coordinating the wedding and making sure our stay was the best it could be. And it was; everything was amazing. From the weather, to the food and the friendly bartenders at the swim up bar.
Now let me mention the views. Absolutely spectacular! I'm an enthusiast's photographer. Every morning I woke up early so my camera and tripod could spend an hour or so on one of the many terraces and sky decks at this amazing hotel. I was not disappointed. The sunrises and the fairytale cloud formations were awesome, more so than I expected. For me, this alone was worth the trip.
Now let me tell you a little about the staff at this awesome hotel. I've never experienced a group of people more aware of a group's needs, who are more accommodating and friendly that those at La Mansion Inn. Simply amazing! One afternoon I had a problem with the safe in our room. I called the front desk and they had someone in my room fixing the safe within 10 minutes. On another occasion we had a problem with our TV. Maintenance was at our door in less than 10 minutes! Both minor problems and fixed in little time. And btw- the rooms are unbelievable, beautifully appointed with spectacular views!
If you want to spend a few days in paradise you need to look no further than the La Mansion Inn

We Were Treated Like Royalty!
Wow! Where to begin, except to say that we were treated like royalty. Our trip in Costa Rica took us from San Jose to Monteverde and finally to La Mansion in Manuel Antonio. We were given a tour of the grounds when we first arrived and, even though we showed up before the Check-In time of 3pm, our room was ready for us. No need to wait, although i wouldn't have minded enjoying my pool-side cocktail.
We were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival, which was very nice of them. The only problem was the AC unit in our room didn't work. I couldn't sleep that night because it was so hot so they let us sleep in the vacant room next to ours until they could repair the AC the next day. Long-story-short, AC couldn't be fixed so they upgraded us to the Penthouse Suite! Amazing!
I proposed to my girlfriend while in Manuel Antonio National Park (beach-side no less) and the staff, especially Larissa and Octavio at the front desk and Juan Diego (who does a little bit of everything), went out of their way to make it the most memorable event on our trip, with free champagne and a private table set up in the Bat Cave bar just for us! They even wrote out a "Congratulations" message on our bed out of flower petals.
I've stayed everywhere from fancy 5-stars to seedy motels, from cheesy all-inclusives to swank spas, and La Mansion Inn could school them all! The amazing surroundings, the fabulous food, the friendliness of the staff, but above all, the incredible customer service blew us both away. We definitely plan on returning... maybe for our honeymoon?
Thank you La Mansion!
P.S. To those of you worried about the road construction near the hotel, worry no more! They've completed the work and the road is now open at all times.

Picture Perfect with Wonderful Service
We took a van from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio & kept looking out the window at the beautiful sights during the drive. We were about to take a photo of the beaches of Manuel Antonio, when the van pulled into the driveway of La Mansion Inn. We had arrived at our destination & were staying at the picture perfect location!
Upon arriving, we were given a tour of the hotel- the gym, the cave bar, the breakfast room/balcony, the restaurant, the pool, etc. The weather was perfect & we had our welcome drinks near the pool, looking out onto the ocean & the beautiful view that we had wanted to photograph just before the van pulled into La Mansion Inn. By the time we were finished with our drinks, our room was ready and we were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was perfect & even had a living room with a balcony!
The convenient hotel van took us downtown and we explored the beach and the neighboring areas. On our way back to the hotel, we asked the driver to drop us off at El Avion, and he kindly did so. There we watched the sunset and ran into friends we had met canyoning in La Fortuna! The next day, the front desk clerk suggested that we venture to La Playa Vizans, a smaller beach. We went there and it was absolutely gorgeous & almost surreal. We saw monkeys & the front desk clerk said that a family staying at the hotel said they saw sloths. Later that night, we asked the van driver if he had any recommendations for a restaurant. He drove us to Mar Luna where we had our delicious last meal. The van driver was very accommodating and went out of his way to take us to the restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel was also amazing- both the food and service was great. For example, we asked a waiter to take a photo of us and he proceeded to move the entire table out of the way so that we could get a better photo. We tried to help him & he kept repeating that this was our vacation and we should relax.
Although we were not able to visit the National Park (we had arrived late Sunday morning, the Park is closed on Mondays & we left early Tuesday morning), our trip to Manuel Antonio was wonderful, thanks to the service at La Mansion Inn. Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We had planned to spend our last few days in Costa Rica relaxing at Manuel Antonio and could not have chosen a better hotel. La Mansion Inn left us with amazing memories & we are looking forward to returning. We highly recommend staying at La Mansion Inn to everyone!

Xanadu with a Spectacular View of the Pacific Waves
Arriving at La Mansion Inn for 5 days, the end and the highlight of our 12-day stay in Costa Rica, we stayed in this luxurious boutique hotel at the top of a newly paved road - a luxury in and of itself - in one of the penthouses (off-season rate) with floor to ceiling windows: flat screen TV against one window wall, dining table and chairs with a bird's eye view on another, and large balcony to sunbathe and watch the Pacific sunset. While everything was perfect, including the fabulous variety of Costa Rican breakfasts on the patio, nightcaps in the Bat Cave Bar with the volcanic rock backdrop, and the generously deep Jacuzzi, what truly made this hotel special was the staff. How often do you remember hotel employees' names? (Larissa, Octavio, Charlie, Christopher, Luis, to mention just a few.) In this setting, when service is both highly professional and genuinely friendly, you know you are in Xanadu.

La Mansion - Wonderful Service - Outstanding View!
I had stayed at several hotels at Manuel Antonio but this one is tucked away and I had not thought it had any view - my passion! When my husband and I went to Costa Rica for my 65th birthday I picked La Mansion as they promised a great view from every room. We arrived late and during the rainy green season and ended up with a room with an ocean view but not high enough up for what I had hoped to see. When the porter found out it was my special day, the management decided to improve my view and gave us the Penthouse for the same price. We were simply delighted and celebrated my birthday with a fantastic candlelight dinner from the Penthouse. I will go back again as this is the best value for money and a staff really intent on keeping the customers happy.

Paradise -- Amazing Views, Great Staff, Gourmet Food
Exceedingly charming, romantic and elegant hotel perched on the hillside overlooking ocean, amazing panoramic views from room and balcony, great restaurants and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Pool has a waterfall and bar as well, and a jacuzzi with slide into the pool and also breathtaking views from the water. Perched hillside and surrounded by trees and wildlife – precious little development is to be seen from the views, leaving instead the glorious jungle/water/mountain views. The staff was remarkable: Octavio provided orientation tour and great information, and Larissa at the front desk was accommodating, outgoing and provided a wonderful and friendly presence. The meals were marvelous – intelligently crafted, creative pairings and delicious – and I’m from New York! Don’t miss the pancakes for breakfast. The hotel is located only minutes from Manuel Antonio national park entrance (a 5 minute drive) and about a 10 minute walk to breathtaking beaches. Tasteful and interesting art works throughout, including sculptures of wild-life tucked in nooks and crannies. This was without a doubt one of the most charming and friendly hotels my wife and I have ever experienced and we look forward to returning as soon as possible.

Beautiful Hotel
This hotel is really beautiful! The room was very large and spacious. We had a wonderful balcony with a great view of the ocean.
All the staff are extremely helpful and very nice. The shuttle to the beach is very easy to use and the drivers are really nice. They stopped to let us take pictures of squirrel monkeys on the ride to the beach. The breakfast that was included was great.
Edgar at the front desk was the best! He is so nice, helpful, and very funny. He helped us get our room safe open, helped plan our excursions, recommended a restaurant that was wonderful in Quepos (la Cubanita). He surprised us and was our tour guide to Manuel Antonio Park, and gave a great tour. He arranged for us to go on a great white water rafting tour with Unique Tours.
We can't wait to go back!

Amazing
We had the most amazing experience at La Mansion. We went during the first week of our honeymoon and were beyond pleased with our stay. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Any time, day or night, any request of ours was acquiesced. Our favorite part was the privacy.
We were able to sit on the outside terrace alone in the evening for candlelight dinners overlooking the rainforest and oceanside. The jacuzzi and pool was all ours anytime day or night. We rarely ran into other people. It was so romantic. The front desk staff was also more than helpful in arranging transportation for us when we wanted to take any adventure tours. A lot of reviewers say this is not the place if you like a busy night life, but I disagree. You just have to venture out, take a cab to the top of the hill (maybe 3 minutes away) and there are bars and restaurants all along the road. All of which have excellent food and great staff. We never had any problems with bugs as one reviewer recalled, nor did we have any other problems. Our room stayed very cool, despite us using our back patio constantly. The room was beautiful and always immaculately clean. Luis was our bartender every night and some days by the pool and we just loved him, he was so nice and accommodating and informative about the country. We definitely will return.

Made My Wedding the Best Day Ever
I cannot say enough about La Mansion Inn. I planned my wedding on their sky lounge, and the staff did NOT disappoint. They were helpful in every way. I didn't want a big wedding, and they helped me get flowers and an officiant at no extra charge (unlike other hotels who demanded a wedding planner be hired. For a wedding with 6 people total? I don't think so). They also helped set up at no extra charge, and I was just FLOORED at how beautiful the ceremony and reception looked (it helps that they have the most amazing view in the area). And they let us plug in our iPod to play our wedding music. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the daytime staff (and Charlie the waiter!). The pool was great--there were NO kids dominating the pool area, which is really nice, especially for a romantic getaway. I experienced NO bugs like other reviewers said, but I was careful to keep my balcony door shut at night. The were some geckos running around, but I only saw one actually inside the hotel, and it was very small. And you're IN COSTA RICA. If you can't handle a gecko or crab, then this probably isn't your kind of vacation. And I also did not experience the "musty" smell that others have mentioned. We had a deluxe room and it was very clean and had an amazing view. Plus the bed was comfortable and room was spacious. I recommend taking the ADR Adventure Tour (the staff has more info on it).
That tour, especially if you're in shape, was the most fun thing we did there (besides getting married, that is). There was a huge tropical storm at the end of our stay, but the hotel had a generator and it didn't inconvenience us much considering neighboring hotels were without electricity for days. Bottom line, if you want an incredible wedding, ask for Rosalie and Alyssa at the hotel and you won't be disappointed. If it's just a relaxed getaway with your loved one and/or some friends, this is also a great find.

Wonderful Location, Wonderful Service
La Mansion is a beautiful boutique hotel overlooking the jungle and ocean. The rooms were beautiful, with large balconies, all facing the ocean. The hotel is on a high hill, and the beach is a ways away, but there is a regular shuttle to get you to the park and main beach. There are several smaller beaches within walking distance.
There were monkeys in the trees right outside the hotel and an iguana that came to our balcony in the mornings. Also, the loudest cat I've ever seen would meow at our patio door in the mornings. Not a problem as he was friendly and cute, but he was a loud one. He would only be there for a minute or so, so not a problem.
Edgar was both the receptionist at the hotel and our guide to Manuel Antonio Park. He did both jobs expertly and made us feel completely comfortable at all times. We had a few drinks in the Bat Cave bar, which was nice, but small. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful view
The ocean cove view from all the rooms at La Mansion Inn is enough to make anyone want to stay there, yet the friendly staff topped off our short visit perfectly. They were very accommodating, always available for excursion reservations and always nice. The day we arrived it was raining. One of the staff pointed out sloths in the trees across the road from the hotel while he held one of the table umbrellas for us. As if this weren’t enough La Mansion also has comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price that includes free breakfast from their menu. My wife and daughter had French toast and pancakes both mornings. I experimented. Our room had two queen beds which was perfect for the three of us. Our only regret was that we didn’t plan more time at La Mansion Inn.

A Great Hotel!
I was backpacking for one month around Costa Rica, but needed a treat in the middle of it and went to this hotel with my boyfriend. It was such a romantic hotel. Its got really nice rooms, we had a great view of the park, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be treated nicely! The staff are super nice! My boyfriend's a chef at a restaurant where we live and he really wanted to learn how to make Gallo Pinto, so we asked the front desk if the next morning he could wake up early and watch the chefs in the kitchen make Gallo Pinto. They said that would be great and my boyfriend had a great time! And when we first arrived the guy showing us the hotel gave us free martinis! And free long distance calls!

Amazing Honeymoon Experience
My new wife and I decided on Costa Rica, and more specifically, Manuel Antonio, for our honeymoon destination. I researched hotels EXTENSIVELY and after speaking with my travel agent we decided La Mansion Inn was the best for us... and boy was it GREAT! First off, the hotel itself is beautiful and boutique-ish and had amazing views. The room itself was awesome and huge... perfect for a newlywed getaway. The mattress was comfortable, the air conditioning was more than sufficient, and the bathroom was big and had a great shower. We even had a "lounge" room with a wrap-around sofa, TV, and deck - and this was a standard room! We really enjoyed sunbathing and having drinks by the pool. Breakfast was included in our deal and after eating away from the hotel the first two mornings and then eating in our hotel we realized that we would be eating there from that point on because it was waaay better.
Most importantly though, the staff was SUPER helpful and all spoke great English... Edgar was our main contact and basically planned our entire itinerary - he sent us jet ski/snorkeling, horseback riding, zip-lining (TiTi), white water rafting (Unique Tours), day spa (Spa Uno), and even went the extra mile to help me find the best surf breaks and best times to surf (which happened to be walking distance from the hotel which was a HUGE plus).
I can't even describe how great our trip was and how great La Mansion and its staff was for us. We will definitely be visiting them again in the future!

Wonderful Stay..Nice People..Great Service
8 nights in CR and this place was the highlight of our travels. When we arrived we were greeted with champagne. When we toured the hotel and were escorted to our room, my wife asked if we could have a room closer to the entry since she has a bad knee. No problem, they escorted us to the penthouse and gave us the room reserved for stars at no extra cost! We had a private entry, balcony and felt like royalty!

Wonderful Hotel with Top Personalized Service
Our stay at La Mansion far exceeded our expectations. The room, the view and food were wonderful, but the highlight of our experience was the level of service and personal attention we received from the staff. For example, when the shuttle bus to the beach was late, they not only called us a taxi, but they paid the fare. The attentiveness of the reception and friendliness of the bar and wait staff was unlike any other hotel we visited. The room was lovely with spa robes on the pillows and a gorgeous view of the cove. They gave us a tour of the property after we checked in. Great pool with a wet bar and breakfast on a terrace where a friendly iguana visited us. The Jacques Cousteau restaurant was very good--love the aquarium with a funny orange fish that followed us around. The Bat Bar is kitschy cool with a three foot-tall door entrance and dead bat encased in glass. My only criticism is the cheesy merchandisey decor, but that's just a matter of taste and it grew on us as part of the fun. Also the road to the hotel from town is a bumpy ride, but they were working on it during our stay so it will probably be smooth before long. We felt that all our needs were fulfilled and we couldn't have felt more welcome as guests.
Actually, the treatment was so thoughtful that our experience went beyond what we imagined a hotel could provide.

This is a gem of an Inn with outstanding food, great water views and a staff second to none. We stayed 9 days and couldn't be happier. Friendly service, great view, relaxing vacation
We had a great stay at La Mansion for 7 nights. The staff went full out to make our stay enjoyable. Even though the roads are horrible, we were provided with shuttle services to and from the beach. You will need a taxi to go out for dinner, but the rates are very low ($8 for 2). The hotel is small (21 rooms) and very quite, which makes for a relaxing stay. The restaurant is a bit expensive, but worth every $. The servers at breakfast are so friendly and the food so good, we never missed it. The hotel will arrange tours, etc and everything is on time. If you are a member of Fraternal Order of Police, La Mansion will give you a special rate. Thanks La Mansion.

A wonderful experience at La Mansion Inn
We recently stayed at La Mansion Inn and what a wonderful experience it was. La Mansion Inn offers beautiful views all around the hotel. The place was nice and clean. Jungle Hideaway
We just returned from our visit to Manuel Antonio, which included a 4-night stay at La Mansion. It was a wonderful experience, even before setting foot in the door. Prior to our trip, I got the idea of having a few special touches in our room upon arrival. I traded emails and phone calls with Rosalie, and she arranged for everything...she even made a trip into town for an assortment of chocolates! When we arrived, we were treated like royalty! We were taken on a tour of the property and given complimentary drinks to enjoy by the poolside bar. The room was spacious and extremely clean, with the most amazing view of the Pacific from our balcony.
The front desk personnel were very helpful and courteous throughout our visit. They booked several tours for us, called for cabs, and suggested restaurants. Another personal touch is that they always called us by our first names!
Our experience with La Mansion was nothing but positive!

Amazing!”
W After having my wedding at La Mansion my husband and I knew that we had to write a review on La Mansion. My guests had such a positive experience. All 30 of our guests expressed a very positive and enjoyable experience, and they were thrilled with the hotel we chose. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and overall genuinely good people. Everything about this hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The location is beautiful and most views throughout the hotel are breathtaking. Even when a few things went wrong with our wedding day (not at the fault of La Mansion) the hotel staff did everything they could to correct the problem.
The food was very good at each meal. They made our first visit to Costa Rica a truly unforgettable experience. We will absolutely go back to stay at La Mansion again as will many of my guests. Thank yoyou to La Mansion and staff for making our wedding day and stay a dream.

What A Wonderful Hotel
We were here the first week of January for a wedding. Words cannot describe how nice and friendly the staff is here - and how helpful they are. The pool is fantastic and the monkeys entertaining. The view of Manual Antonio Park/Beach is just breath taking. We ate here for breakfast and lunch and the food was delicious at every meal -- especially breakfast! The cave bar is cool -but my personal opinion is they can do without the fog - it triggered my asthma so I didnt spend much time in there. I loved the fact they had a computer for you to use and a house phone to call the states. Our friends had thier reception here and it was just beautiful and the food/service was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone -- and if you are getting married or want a special treat - ask for the Presidential Suite -- OMG it's beautiful.
